Microdermabrasion & Sonophoresis
Microdermabrasion is a simple, non-invasive and painless treatment that is used to manually exfoliate and smooth the skin's surface. The treatment is designed to improve the overall appearance and quality of the skin by unclogging pores and removing built-up dead skin cells and impurities from the outer layer of the epidermis. Microdermabrasion allows for deeper penetration of products applied post treatment.
Our skincare range, asap, has further enhanced the benefits of Microdermabrasion by combining the treatment with the ultrasonic (sound wave) technology of Sonophoresis. Our asap MicroPlus facial involves Sonophoresis, which increases product penetration within the skin by up to 800%! It also boosts blood circulation, increasing oxygen delivery to the skin for a refreshed, radiant and hydrated complexion.

Microdermabrasion and Sonophoresis is an excellent treatment that all Fitzpatrick skin types can benefit from. A series of treatments is usually recommended for acne treatment and management.
Your skin may look slightly red or flushed upon leaving the clinic but will generally settle down within a couple of hours. There is no downtime involved with this treatment.

ASAP Professional Peels
Exfoliation of the skin is vital in maintaining healthy skin as it unclogs pores and removes the layer of dead skin cells, which in turn allows for optimal penetration and absorption of active ingredients from your skincare. ASAP Professional Peels involve the application of a solution (made up of AHAs and/or BHA) to the skin’s surface to chemically exfoliate part of the outer layer of the skin. This treatment stimulates the growth of new skin cells and reduces skin congestion which results in improved skin refinement, radiance and texture.
ASAP Professional Peels are customised to your skin concerns and can be done as a stand-alone treatment or can be combined with microdermabrasion and sonophoresis during an ASAP MicroPlus facial.

It is normal to experience a slight to strong tingling sensation during peel application, which can last up to 10 minutes.
Immediately after peel application, the skin may appear slightly pink/red and feel tight, warm or tingly. Visible peeling or flaking, if it occurs, is usually complete in 5 to 7 days.
Peels are not recommended for 7 to 10 days before an important social engagement.

EXCEED™ Skin Microneedling
Our skin's collagen production starts to slow down during our early 20’s - naturally decreasing about 1-2% per year - yet it is an essential protein that helps us to maintain a youthful complexion.
EXCEED™ skin microneedling pen delivery system rejuvenates the skin by penetrating vertical micro-channels into the skin’s surface, which in turn stimulates the body’s natural healing process, skin cell growth factors, and collagen and elastin production. Skin microneedling is mostly suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types.

There is minimal downtime involved with skin micro-needling. It is normal for your skin to appear slightly pink/red for up to 48-72 hours post-treatment, and feel sensitive and/or dry for up to 7 days post-treatment. Mild peeling may occur after 2 to 3 days post-treatment. The skin will start showing results from 1 week post-treatment which can last for several months.
For optimal results, we recommend a series of 4 to 6 treatments, 4 to 6 weeks apart, in conjunction with an asap skincare regime.Collagen induction requires a minimum of 3 treatments, whilst scar reduction will require between 3 to 6 treatments minimum.

Vampire Facial
The Vampire Facial combines the benefits of EXCEED™ skin microneedling pen delivery system with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) application for overall skin regeneration.
This treatment involves the collection of your blood which is then spun down using a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The PRP portion of your blood is then applied to your skin in conjunction with skin micro-needling to stimulate new collagen and elastin production with the numerous growth factors contained in your own PRP.

LED Therapy
LED Therapy uses light energy to fuel and energise the cells in our skin thus enhancing their performance. This process stimulates healing, collagen production and eliminates acne-causing bacteria.
LED Therapy can be used as a treatment on its own (and is a recommended pre-treatment preparation for skin needling or laser treatments to enhance results), or can be added to other skin treatments such as microdermabrasion and peels.
LED (Light Emitting Diode) Therapy is used to improve active acne, rosacea/redness, fine lines, wound healing, and the overall rejuvenation of the skin. LED Therapy is non-invasive, pain-free, suitable for all skin types and is also safe for pregnant/breastfeeding women.
In our experience, multiple treatments are required to obtain optimal results. To treat active acne and promote skin clarity, we recommend 2 treatments (1 with Blue LED and 1 with Red LED) per week (3 to 4 days apart), for up to 8 to 12 weeks. Generally, clients will notice a change in their skin around 4 to 6 weeks. For skin rejuvenation, we recommend Red LED which can be performed 1 to 2 times per week (3 to 4 days apart), for up to 10 to 12 treatments. Maintenance treatments will vary depending on each individual but we recommend 1 treatment every 1 to 3 months after you’ve finished the initial series of treatments to help maintain results.

VeinGogh™
VeinGogh™ uses ohmic thermolysis (high-frequency electrical energy delivered into the vessel via a hair-thin probe) to effectively treat facial veins (telangiectasia) and cherry angiomas to cosmetically improve the appearance of the skin.
VeinGogh™ treatments are performed in clinic by Dr Sally Buchan and are suitable for all skin types, unlike alternative therapies such as IPL and laser.
A topical anesthetic will be applied prior to treatment to relieve discomfort. The procedure uses a hair-thin probe which is inserted into the abnormal vessel, this can result in a 'pinch' sensation (similar to a hair being removed).
Immediately after treatment, the treated area will be pink/red and some swelling may be present. This will settle down within 24 hours post treatment.

Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a simple, safe and effective way to treat varicose and spider veins on the legs.
Causes of leg veins:

- Pregnancy
- Genetics
- Hormonal fluctuations
- Circulation conditions
- Occupations that require standing for lengthy periods
This non-invasive treatment involves Dr Sally Buchan injecting the veins with a sclerosing solution which simply causes the veins to collapse and to be absorbed by the body.
The sclerosant has an effect on the walls of the veins which causes them to fade away gradually over a period of up to 6 weeks after the procedure. The treatment is well tolerated and does not require the use of anaesthetic.
After Sclerotherapy treatment, the use of compression stockings is required for a period of 1-2 weeks.
